For three decades, Betty Wasserman has created modern residences where architecture, custom furnishings, fine art, and daily living exist in considered dialogue. Her work has earned recognition among the best New York interior designers through decades of acclaimed projects, national publications, and a practice shaped by art as much as architecture.

Before founding her interior design studio, Betty spent ten years as a New York private art dealer, advising collectors and corporations on significant works of art. That perspective remains central to her practice today. Art is never treated as a finishing touch; it is considered from the beginning as part of the architecture, atmosphere, and identity of the home.

For clients acquiring investment-grade works, Betty brings careful attention to provenance, scale, composition, and long-term significance. Custom furnishings are frequently designed specifically for each residence, allowing architecture, art, and craftsmanship to evolve together.
